About Julie Williams (They/She), MA, LMFT

Julie specializes in helping trauma survivors with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and/or post-traumatic stress to learn paths to healing while removing unnecessary shame.  This is done by utilizing a blend of deep listening, helping clients re-write their narrative, teaching techniques that release trauma somatically, and utilizing cognitive therapies to change negative thinking patterns. These methods often lead to clients learning to set healthy boundaries, feel safer in their bodies, and lead more grounded lives.

Hey! I'm Julie

I am deeply committed to justice, equity, decolonizing mental health, helping trauma survivors find empowerment, and assisting clients with identity exploration. I believe that true empowerment stems from a profound understanding of one's authentic self. By helping clients explore how the past influences the present, I am passionate about helping clients cultivate greater compassion within themselves.

Whether you're facing trauma, post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, identity complexities, or chronic pain, I prioritize honoring all aspects of my clients and their experiences. I employ an eclectic therapeutic approach that integrates various techniques and modalities including ACT, Depth Psychology, Holistic and Transpersonal Psychology, Somatic Therapy, Attachment Theory, CBT, humanistic approaches, and Internal Family Systems.

I am currently open to and warmly welcome new clients. I look forward to embarking on a therapeutic journey with you, aspiring to nurture clarity, self-compassion, resilience, and self-acceptance along the way.
