For the treatment of Anxiety
I help others reduce people-pleasing behaviors so they can break the cycle of self-doubt, self-neglect, and overthinking. In individual therapy with me, you'll learn ways to self-soothe, regulate your nervous system, set boundaries, navigate life transitions, decrease inner-critic messages, and build self-esteem.
What sets me apart from other anxiety therapists is that I have a presence that helps others feel more relaxed and judge themselves less. I bring in humor that helps people to learn to laugh at themselves instead of shaming or bullying themselves.
For the treatment of Trauma, PTSD, CPTSD, and Depression
I provide empowering and empathetic therapy that helps trauma survivors learn to treat themselves in a more kind and nurturing way. I specialize in helping trauma survivors who are struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD to learn paths to healing and removing unnecessary shame by teaching techniques that release trauma somatically so that they can set healthy boundaries and lead more grounded lives. I am passionate about working with motivated, insightful adults who want to better understand how their past has impacted them. I am an expert in utilizing several different and unique treatment modalities designed to help you reduce negative self-talk and improve your relationship with your true self. During our journey together I can help you realize and release unhelpful narratives and patterns in order to assist you in re-writing your story.
What sets me apart from other trauma therapists is that my lived understanding as a complex trauma survivor helps others know I am not only compassionate to their challenges but also can be empathetic and can resonate with them where they are at. I also have done the work myself and have collected what methods helped me recover and am passionate about teaching others how to feel worthy of the care they have always deserved.
For LGBTQIA+ issues, trauma, and healing
Learn to remove internalized homophobia and embrace who you are underneath societies expectations. Working with me you can expect to feel understood and supported. I am an expert in identity issues and can help you find greater self-acceptance. I specialize in helping LGBTQIA+ folks who are struggling with self-esteem and traumatic experiences to learn to love and accept themselves by getting to know themselves better.
What sets me apart from other queer therapists is my understanding that comes from lived experience as a queer person, along with my accepting nurturing nature that is balanced with being direct. I help my queer clients see how they carry their wounds and internalized homophobia and assist them in releasing old beliefs and patterns that don't serve them anymore.
